22 dicembre A short visit to Macau...Ha.....just back from Macau this afternoon, and felt a bit tired. In fact, everytime when i went out in Macau, my cousin will drove me anyway. But still felt quite drowsy on bus......
Macau, this is a place where i went to several times already. But for me, i really don't have a very good feeling on it. I think the most important reason is the gambling industry. This industry is the central point for Macau's development. Like Hong Kong, it is a place famous for its financial and tourism industries. In fact, gambling industry is not a fault by itself. But for me, i just dislike it anyway. Maybe i grew up with a negative memory and feeling on it from TV or other sources. Maybe i'm kind of person who never spend $1 into the gambling machine. Also, i'm kind of conversative person who never takes a risk on somethings. And maybe this is the reason why i'll be in accounting industry....haha
Well, but Macau developes better and better than before. With operation of new casinoes, more and more ppls will go to Macau and support for the growth of economics in Macau. My cousin who worked in one casinoes told me that more and more ppls are required to fulfil those new vacancies in Macau's new casinoes. It sounds good to ppls who are looking for jobs actually. And with well-pay there, i think ppls from other regions and areas might also go to Macau and work in casinoes. But the thing is that, i just don't know how come those ppls will have so much money and funds to play in Casinoes. Well, this is really a good questions for consideration. Unfortanately, lots of ppls are Asian. Interestingly, the poor people will also like to throw their money there and take a chance to win...if it is so easy for us to win the gambling, how come there will be so many casinoes in the world? Basically, you will pay for what you get from this short-term winning via gambling. That's it. I always believe that no pain, no gain. Investment, rather than, gambling and speculation, is a rite way to accumulate your fund.
Anyway, take a look at these x'mas view in Macau and have a wonderful holiday.....cheers
18 dicembre Half day visit in Baomo Park...Well....just finished my lunch today, it's a bit late now coz i went to visit a park which is just 30 min driving from my home. It's called Baomo Park and classified as national 4-star scenery for tourism. It took us around 2 hours to walk through the whole park. Here, you will find lots of the chinese traditional buildings....and i also tried famous milk dessert and it tastes good as before.
